At dog 'n butterfly we’re always interested to hear from experienced, dedicated and reliable dog walkers and pet sitters who’d be interested in joining our team.

dog 'n butterfly is a rapidly expanding dog walking and pet sitting company based in Sugarhouse, just 10 minutes away from the heart of Salt Lake City. Established in 2015, we have a client base of over 100 customers, and an appetite for growth. We were Best of SLC Finalists in 2020.

We currently serve Downtown, the Capitol, the Avenues, Federal Heights, Foothill, Sugarhouse and Emigration Canyon, and are looking to expand on both the area we cover and the services we provide.

Who are we looking for? Applicants will need to:

· Be physically fit; you’ll need to be able to handle dogs of all sizes and walk several hours a day.

· Demonstrate a high level of competence handling multiple dogs at the same time.

· Have compassion and understanding for animals and know how to engage with them.

· Have a reliable, pet-friendly vehicle.

· Be punctual, reliable and discreet.

· Be willing to work outside in all weather conditions.

· Have previous experience and provide references.

In addition to the above, Pet Sitter applicants will need to:

· Provide a safe, pet-friendly home if pets are boarding with you.

· Be willing to stay away from home at a customer’s house for extended periods of time.

Applicants with current animal-specific CPR and/or First Aid certifications are especially encouraged.
