We've always liked to keep things small at dog 'n butterfly - this allows us to give all of the pets we take care of the attention they deserve, and that their owners have come to expect from us. We've seen an unprecedented surge in demand in recent months which is absolutely thrilling, but we've reached a point where we can't continue to add clients without reducing the quality of our service, and that's not something we're willing to do. We've taken the difficult decision to stop taking new clients for the time being, while we recruit and train some additional help.

Walks, Hikes & Visits

Leashed Walks

We provide an AM or PM walk which consists of pick up/drop off from your home and a leashed walk. We walk no more than 3 dogs per person to ensure that your dog gets the exclusive attention and stimulation they need. Our walks not only ensure regular exercise, but also help your dog's socializing skills and general wellbeing.

Off Leash Walks

We provide mid-morning to early afternoon off-leash hikes. As with our leashed walks, we will pick up/drop off from your home and the walks and hikes last a full hour. We walk no more than 4 dogs off leash. The dogs are paired with others of the same temperament and stamina so that they get the most out of their time with us.

Drop-in Visits

Sometimes, all you need is someone to stop by the house and check in on your pet. We provide non-walking visits for your dog or cat, or other pets. During our visit, we will feed your pet and provide love and attention. We can also empty out litter boxes, clean out the bird cage, administer medication and take care of any other pet-related matters on request.

Boarding & House Sitting

Overnight House Sitting

We will come to your house and stay with your pets while you are away. They can expect a walk both in the evening and in the morning (or play time if preferred), dinner and breakfast service, and lots of human companionship and love while we are there. We also offer, at no additional charge, to water your plants, take out the garbage, and pick up your mail. And when it's time to leave, we will leave your house tidy and in order, so you can relax when you get back home.

Overnight House Sitting and Mid-day Visit

If you need an additional walk or visit during the day, we are happy to provide a thirty to forty-five minute check in. This includes an additional walk, or letting the dogs out to stretch their legs.

Boarding

Your pet's home away from home! We have several sitters that will take your pup into their own home. This is not a kennel environment; your dog will live with us, in our home, as one of the family.

Day Care, Pet Taxi and Other Services

Day Care

Unfortunately we're not accepting new daycare clients at this time, as both our schedule and waitlist are full.

We firmly believe that too many dogs with too little human interaction is not in the best interest of our canine companions, and we won't compromise the quality of our daycare by overcrowding.

Pet Taxi
